The OKX executive says Democrats have little incentive to hand Republicans a crypto victory before the midterms.
- OKX's Haider Rafique said he is skeptical the Clarity Act will pass this year, arguing Democrats have little incentive to back a Republican-led crypto bill ahead of the midterms.
- Rafique said most of the legislation's positive impact is already reflected in bitcoin's price, with only modest upside if it passes but potentially sharper downside if it fails.
- He also outlined plans to expand OKX's partnership with Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), including bringing tokenized equities, futures and other traditional financial products onchain.
